Nantes airport

Hi guys !!!

Today we will talk about another means of transport coming to Nantes: the airport.
Nantes Atlantique Airport is precisely in Bouguenais. It is one of the most important airports on the west coast of France.
There are planes from several airlines such as Volotea, easyJet and Transavia France.
The most important flights are to Lyon, Paris, Marseille and Toulouse.
The project of a new airport «Notre-Dame-des-Landes» having been abandoned, new developments will take place in this airport.
So don’t hesitate to take a plane ticket to discover the city of Nantes!

Bicloo

Hi guys !!!

As you know, we already present the train station and the tramway. Now we will introduce you the « bicloo ». It’s some bikes that we can take when we want. There is a phone app to do it easyer. It’s very fast to use so it’s so useful at night (don’t drive if your drunk !!) or just for pleasure.

We can find these bikes at some places all over the city. There is 123 bicloo station for a total of 1000 bikes.

You can create an account to unlock the bikes faster with the app. There is also some parkings where we can leave our personal bike for not a lot of money.

Moreover, it’s very cheap because wa have the firl half-hour free and it’s nearly one euro for two hours.

Nantes transports

Hi guys !!!

As we say on the last post, we are going to speak concerning transports. It’s important to present you, because it’s complicated to visit all by foot. It’s a large city.

In 1826, the first date where the transports appeared.

We have 5 tram lines. The first, it goes from “Saint Herblain”, to “Beaujoire”, at the football stadium wich is presenting later. The second, it goes from “Orvault”, to the south of the island of Nantes. The third, it goes from “Marcel Paul” to “Rezé”. Then, there is two bus way mainly for the south of Nantes.

There are also a lot of bus lines to corresponds with a large number of place.

There are different tarifs, depending on whether you plan to travel often enough or not. If you want to have more explications, i advice you to go to see the website to TAN. It’s the company to manage transports.

I post also a picture which represents all the lines (bus, tram).

The train station

Hi guys !!!

Today, we are going to do a presentation of the Nantes train station. The station recently became bigger after some work, in order to make it more attractive.

It is located close to the city’s downtown. Around the station, you can find the famous castle “Château des ducs de Bretagne”, you can also have a walk on the sides of the Loire, the famous river going through Nantes.
